They say portrait photography is the art of stealing someone’s soul with a click. To me, what really matters is that I walk away from a photoshoot knowing that in my SD I have at least one picture where I have captured that person’s true essence.
Here I hope you’ll find the essence of some of the people I’ve had the privilege to photograph along the way.

When looking in the mirror, people tend to focus on imperfections, on what makes them ugly. It’s the photographer’s job and great privilege to show them what makes them beautiful.

There is always a special moment when the model forgets for a second to be in the middle of a photoshoot. That’s when my shutter goes off, the sweet spot where the truest images come to life.

Naturally, I don’t expect you to believe that my portraits are all about my subjects. Oscar Wilde used to say:
“Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.”
So by all means, whatever you see of me in my portraits, feel free to let me know.
